ERITY has entered into a Strategic Relationship Agreement with advanced battery technology developer Alsym Energy, establishing a long-term collaboration to deliver advanced battery energy storage solutions.
As an integrated consulting and advisory organisation, ERITY combines expertise across geology, mining, corporate advisory, legal and technology disciplines to help clients solve complex technical and commercial challenges. Through this agreement, ERITY together with Alsym Energy will assess battery energy storage opportunities and support the development of practical, commercially sound energy solutions tailored to the operational needs of mining, resources, and critical minerals clients.
The collaboration brings together ERITY’s integrated consulting and advisory expertise with Alsym Energy’s innovative sodium-ion battery technology, providing clients with access to technical expertise, commercial expertise and advanced battery energy storage solutions.
Manny Claassens, Chief Operating Officer – Energy, ERITY, said the agreement reflects the organisation’s commitment to supporting clients as demands for reliable energy infrastructure continues to grow.
“This agreement represents an important milestone for ERITY and reflects our commitment to helping clients address increasingly complex energy challenges.
Energy storage has become a strategic business consideration that influences operational resilience, project economics, productivity, and long-term business performance.
By combining ERITY’s integrated consulting and advisory capability with Alsym Energy’s advanced battery technology, we are well positioned to help clients evaluate, develop and implement energy storage solutions that are technically robust, commercially sound and operationally fit for purpose.”
The Strategic Relationship Agreement supports collaboration across a broad range of applications, including mining operations, critical minerals, industrial infrastructure, data centres, and other energy-intensive sectors where advanced battery energy storage technologies can deliver measurable operational and commercial value.
The agreement also supports ERITY’s growing international energy presence, complementing the organisation’s existing work across Australia and Africa while creating new opportunities to support mining and industrial clients evaluating advanced battery energy storage solutions. Initial opportunities are expected to include projects associated with Volt Resources Limited and Resource Minerals International Limited, together with broader opportunities across the international mining sector.
Asimwe Kabunga, Chairman of Volt Resources Limited and Resource Minerals International Limited, said the collaboration responds to growing industry demand for practical and reliable energy solutions.
“Mining companies are increasingly seeking practical energy solutions that improve operational resilience, reduce operating costs and support long-term business sustainability.
The combination of innovative battery technology with experienced consulting and advisory capability provides organisations with a practical pathway for evaluating and implementing new energy solutions with confidence.
ERITY’s understanding of the mining industry, together with Alsym Energy’s differentiated sodium-ion technology, creates a compelling platform for assessing and delivering energy solutions capable of supporting the next generation of mining projects.”
Mukesh Chatter, Chief Executive Officer of Alsym Energy, said ERITY’s deep understanding of the mining sector made it a natural strategic partner.
“ERITY’s integrated understanding of mining operations and project development makes it an outstanding strategic partner for Alsym Energy.
Together, we can bridge the gap between innovative battery technology and practical deployment, ensuring organisations have access to energy storage solutions that prioritise safety, reliability, and long-term performance.
We look forward to working alongside ERITY to help mining and industrial clients evaluate and implement advanced energy storage solutions that deliver lasting operational value.”
The Strategic Relationship Agreement reflects ERITY’s strategic investment in developing its energy capability to meet the evolving needs of the mining, resources, and industrial sectors. By combining independent advisory expertise with leading battery technology, ERITY is well positioned to help clients evaluate complex energy projects, strengthen operational performance, and unlock long-term value.

About Alsym Energy
Alsym Energy is enabling a safe, affordable energy future by rethinking battery chemistry. The company’s flagship Na-Series are non-flammable, high-performance, low-cost sodium-ion batteries made with earth abundant materials. They are designed using a proprietary, physics-informed AI platform that enables the discovery of materials and commercially viable chemistries 10x faster than traditional, trial and error experiment-only methods. By combining DeepTech expertise in batteries with physics-informed AI, the platform is a closed-loop system that accelerates the entire battery development process, from ideation to manufacturing. Alysm’s Na-Series technology eliminates thermal runaway and allows energy storage to be deployed safely for AI data centers, utilities, commercial real estate, defense, and anywhere else energy storage is needed. Its wide operating temperature range avoids the need for HVAC systems for safety or performance, and fast charge and discharge rates allow multiple cycles per day, creating a powerful economic model for energy storage systems. And its ability to absorb GPU-induced frequent power transients makes it uniquely suited for the next generation of AI data centers. To date, Alsym has publicly announced 18 GWh in customer commitments with more to come. Alsym Na-Series: A better battery for energy storage
